Spezifität: The antibody detects endogenous level of IRS-1 only when phosphorylated at serine 639.

Aufreinigung: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Immunogen: Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pSer639 (P-K-S (p) -V-S) derived from Human IRS-1. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
